Recovered mxf files can't open

Hi,
Brand new here, hope someone can guide a newbee.In advance, sorry about the spelling, english isen't my native language. By accident my p2 card was deleted from a panasonic hpx 171, It was observations for my bachelor university project, -so pretty importen for a student like me. Nothing was recordted on the card after this, and the card is now locked. I used disk drill and it recovered a lot of mxf files and the bmp files. Judging from the thumbnail pictures (bmp) i believe all my data is recovered (+ some older stuff as well), only problem is that at can't view those mxf files (know some of them are audio clips as well). VLC will not open, Avid will not support the format. Adobe premiere will import, but i can't view the video clips or hear the audio. Premiere simply won't play them. Is there anything a can do? or is the files corrupted and all hope lost?
