HCVPRO-HD converted to ACVHD?

I have a Panasonic HPX250 that I usually set to shoot in HVCPRO-HD and I am interested in converting the footage to AVCHD. I have a friend who shoots with cameras that produce AVCHD.

How would I convert from the P2 camera to AVCHD? Do I need to shoot some other format on the HPX250, will I need to convert in FCP, or am I unable to make this conversion?
