Yes, you need to format the card properly, and the correct folder needs to be copied to it. it took me 2-3 tries before I got it right. Don't quote me on it, but I think the PRIVATE folder needs to be at the root of the SD card.
Alos, I have registered my 2000 on the panny website with the auto checker and logger information, and it is pretty slick, if not a odd from being translated from Japanese to english. Thier idea of web design is a little different than ours, but it works pretty slick. Will make record keeping very easy in case we ever want to sell the camera, all the records are there for easy perusal.
