HVX Grain

Hi all,

I have recently directed two shoots with the HVX/Movietube combo. Apart from the horrendous light loss, the main issue is with the amount of digital grain produced by the HVX. In no way is this a lighting or exposure issue as the exterior footage had the same issues in the blacks and browns. When lighting interiors, contrast was desired but we found if we had any areas not lit brightly there was loads of movement.

I would like to hear if there were any settings which could be changed within the camera without pushing the blacks as I would like as much information in the image as possible.
