Can't capture it any better than DVCPRO HD. You can finish in a higher format, if your client requires it. But with the aid of a good capture card (Kona 3) you don't need to work with any better format than DVCPRO HD.
Just get a Mac Pro, a bunch of internal drives for the sleds and work away.
