Well, there is a p2 deck: https://eww.pavc.panasonic.co.jp/pro-av/sales_o/p2/p2deck/index.html. Another way to do this (I guess) is to lay off to Digibeta an un color corrected version. Then digitize that back in at 10 bit. I'm not sure if this is an option or the quality gains or losses you would get from this workflow, but if you have the tools, why not try it? I am just throwing out suggestions. I am really curious about what you find as I will start to to integrate the p2 workflow as soon as I get a chnace to figure out the camera. Another way to do this is to convert all of your footage to 10 bit right away (before the edit) but that seems kind of counter productive and your storage requirements would sky rocket.

I'm wondering if that fuzziness is the field order difference (720x480 vs 720x486) but I don't enough about FT to know how it works. Does it work in 720x480? It must.

Jeremy
