Graeme is 100% correct. The great benefit about shooting to P2 is to leave the limitations of tape behind- including the necessity of shooting discardable or repeating frames. It wouldn't make sense to re-introduce it, since those frames are discarded "upon capture" and with P2 there is no capture.
