Well, if that's true, that brings up an interesting question.
If 1080/24P is going to require the use of a pulldown, then essentially what is being recorded to the P2 cards will be 108060i?

That seems awfully wasteful in terms of storage space.
That would mean the datarate on 1080/24P would be the full 100mb/s, with a good chunk of that being taken up by pulldown frames that will eventually be discarded anyhow.

I wonder if Jan might be able to enlighten us on this one, or if we'll just have to wait for NAB.
