Questions re: Memory Cards for Kodak v530
by phillr on Aug 4, 2006 at 3:16:05 pm

My camera says it can used "SD/MMC" cards. To my limited knowledge, SD and MMC are two seperate types of cards. What's the difference between them?

On the Kodak website, the highest size they sell is 1 GB. Does this mean my camera wouldn't work with a card that had higher storage?

The Kodak website also sells a 'high performance' card (nice of them to not give any description). Any idea what this would mean? I've also seen cards that advertise as having a higher read/write speed. Would this be compatible with my camera?
