as far as the remote flash setup are concerned, you need to buy remote triggers (receivers) for each flash, and then one for the camera that will trigger the others (tranceiver)....they're called slaves and it's pretty simple....not super cheap though,...check out

pocket wizard seems to be the industry standard, especially among skate photographers....there is also another way to do it with optical slaves that need to"see" each other and then fire but i don't trust them....in april, Transworld Skateboarding had a photography edition, with tons of awesome tips and tricks of the trade, check it out if you can find a copy....
