Hi. thanks for the response

What if the video is playing completely fine on a regular computer? Its playing fine on IE9, Firefox, safari and chrome so the video must be compatible with JWPlayer right?
The file is not corrupted but it is an MPEG4 file that is 73mb. would that be considered big enough to crash a page on a smartphone?

Not sure what additional settings I could use to allow it to work but not lose anymore resolution for the video. The original is a 1920x800 video that I compressed to the MPEG4.
