Hi all,
I'm using dreamweaver cs5 and I have created a website that has so far worked flawlessly on mobile devices..
I have now added a flash video that is about 2mins in length on one of the pages. When I attempt to play this page on my smartphone it loads up about 90% of the page but then the browser page closes itself. It never manages to load up the page..
Now I'm guessing this is the video file itself that is the problem and not the phone hence why i'm on here trying to get some advice on it.
The reason I think this is that I have another page on the same website that also has a flash video but only 9seconds long and that plays out fine everytime..
Is there a way to optimise the page with the 2min video to work better on mobile devices? in dreamweaver? or is it beyond dreamweaver?
Or is there a particular flv setting I should be compressing my video as that will get me a video that is high enough in quality to work on a computer screen whilst also working on mobile devices?
