Nelson MayQuestions about a mobile website
by on Jul 16, 2012 at 4:07:05 pm

I am a novice web author and want to make a m.website.com. I have a site and I have a few questions. I hope it is enough for me to get up and running. My site is http://www.lettersfromyournightlynelson.com, or http://www.lfynn.com. I decided to start building in MUSE, but sometimes edit in DW CS6.

1. Is there a quick guide to building a mobile page?

2 I have a QR code sending phones to the above sites. Do you add code into the website that can detect a mobile browser and then go to the mobile domain. I thought I read this somewhere.

3. If question 2 is true, can I embed the site within my main site?
4. can you give me a few cross mobile browser hints, text size requirements and other considerations?

I know this is a lot, but thanks for the help.

4. If all of the above are difficult to learn quickly, is there a piece of software that can write mobile pages and do most of the work for you.

MBP 2.4GHz 4MB RAM, 30"cine, MAC PRO 2.6 8 core 6GB RAM, Mbox, Neumann TLM-103, FCP HD 7. Pro Tools 8, Adobe Creative Suite, Reason 3.0, Macromedia Studio, ProAnimator, HVX200 with Firestore v4.0
