Now it looks like we are cooking with gas! Thanks so much, but a couple things more and I believe I will have it.It appears as though you start your design with photoshop.Should I want to start with Dreamweaver itself and use for example, the header, two clumns, footer and side bar, I think it's called, would that then negate your first suggestion, "site structure"? And from there I know how to add content for the home page. That would be my layout? Then use CSS to design aesthetics and add CSS styles to the site? And then if I like what I've done, use "layout" for different pages on the site or for different websites? Thanks again, really appreciate the input. Gary
