Re: How to design header for use in multiple devices

I'm sorry for replying back to this post so late. The idea that I can't use my web swf animations with any apple product is totally discouraging.
1) So what is the alternative? Currently I create most of the animations in aftereffects...export as SWF. The tend to be 10-15 sec long.
-Are there other formats I can encode that would allow apple users to view the animations? What I know for sure, is I don't want to embed a youtube video and give them a choice as to whether they watch it via a video player interface. I want it to work like it does currently...
Viewer goes to page... animation auto starts ... plays till the end ... and then ends on the last frame and keeps the last frame as the static image.
2) I guess for my purposes if there is another format that would achieve the above I would like to have the code basically... determine if the user is using an apple device...if so play the alternative content, if a non apple user ..
3) Do you know if there are any tutorials or guides to using that code generator link you sent me? I'm really not sure what I should do even if I just want it to substitute a static image for those users who cant play a flash swf
Thanks to you or anyone else who can make any suggestions on alternatives for the apple / flash problem
