Re: Spry Vertical Menu works in IE but displays weird in Mozilla

So, in regard to layout 2, the uls and lis should belong to the top nav. Can I ask you a few questions about that? Why is the top nav works without spry?
The top nav is working on pure CSS. This is the old way of doing it, and totally fine. It works pretty much the same way as a spy menu. The spry menu works on CSS, and also with javascript to allow the animation stuff to occur. if you look at the difference between the two menus, your top menu jumps open and jumps closed, but the side menu eases in and out.
The actual menus though works pretty much the same.


I've also tried in vain to make sub sub menus on the top nav and even though the code is solid (not on the html presently) they won't work. How can I tell if I have the right javascript etc?
You dont need it. You need to create a CSS rule for the ul li ul li. (if you read my spry tutorial, it might help you to understand a little more about the CSS ruling. i know this menu is not a spry menu, but the CSS rule stuff in the tutorial will definately help)
