I'm having the same problem so I think it is a legitimate one. Everything works fine on Firefox, Safari and Opera. You are suggesting to turn off Active X in Internet Explorer to solve the problem, but there are IE hacks in the CSS code for the Spry Nav Menu and a line of code specifically for Active X. I think that the hacks are not up to date. Basically IE is not recognizing that I changed it's properties using the Dreamweaver tutorials on the Adobe website.
