Thanx for your reply.

I have already played with the transparency parameters but it is still the same. I have now uploaded a template based version of the site. This seems OK with IE8, FireFox, Google Chrome and Safari on a Mac. I am beginning to wonder if there is a bug with the PC version of Safari. I guess there are only a hand full of folk using it anyway. I am wondering if it is a bit flakey. It just crashes on my XP Pro machine.
