Dreamwever CS3 keeps crashing - please help

My Dreamweaver CS3 was working fine until the other day and suddenly now it opens then closes again and won't run. It's the regular version, not the trial. I see it saying something flash by very quickly about the cache as it starts up, I think it says something like "scanning 1 through 8," then it closes which makes me think it's an issue with the cache. But I've tried deleting the cache and the configuration and that's not working. I'm not running Acer anti-virus and it's not the 8K glitch. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and cleaning with Win C3Clean and that didn't help either. I'm on Windows Vista. I've searched numerous forums trying to figure it out but still haven't found a solution.
Any ideas?
