Re: scroll bar within fixed sized page
by Chris Anderson on Jun 18, 2009 at 1:06:50 pm

Thanks Dean,

That led me to a solution using the Overflow property. However, as usual I'm getting a different result with internet explorer.
With Firefox and Safari, the background image appears fixed as the text scrolls. This is what I prefer.
With IE, the background image scrolls upwards with the text.

I've tried a few things but nothing seems to help.Any ideas?
For now, I've repeated the image vertical to help but I would prefer not to.

Thanks,
Chris
