MAC resource/data forks?
by

Hi All,
I'm trying to do some web publishing at work but was told that I couldn't because I'm on a MAC and the web server in a websphere environment. The reply was that the MAC generates a bunch of junk with resource and data forks and they would prefer that I didn't publish anything to it.
1) With the server mounted as a network share, this would be true, correct?
2) With files created and uploaded via ftp, this would not hold true (I don't think).
Could anyone verify this please?
Thanks
Dave
