Disappearing DataGrid and Buttons???

I'm making a small app in AS3 that let's me view the properties of a SharedObject in a DataGrid component. Everything works fine when I preview in the IDE but as soon as I publish it, it doesn't work as a standalone projector or a .swf in an html file. The DataGrid instance and two Buttons I'm creating in ActionScript are never displayed... any thoughts?
