IS THERE A WAY ...

Is there a way to Speed up the Encoding of video to progressive download flash?
We have a Quad G5 2.5GHz Machine with 8 GB of Ram and a Mac Pro 8-core 2.8GHz machine with 4 Gb of Ram. Both with CS3 Flash on them. We tested an encode of a long 20 minute edit to load onto a site and it took the same time on BOTH computers. Give or take a minute. Why so close?
So again, is there a way to speed up Flash? Is there something I am missing to get Flash to read all the processors? Because in After Effects CS3, you can choose a multiple render set up that utilizes all the processing power of the computer. (big difference from the Quad to the 8-Core by the way in AE)
Anyone?
Thanks in advance for any information. - I am just tired of waiting all night to encode a 20 minute program. (Takes an Hour and a Half usually if you are wondering.)
