accessing the .(backslash) directory?

Hello, I recently purchased a pre-built dynamic Flash website and was wanting direct access to the directory where some of the images are stored.
For example... there is a bitmap image in the library called "gallery_pic_big_1.jpg". When I open the properties window for this image it says it's in the following directory....
. (backslash) flash (backslash) img (backslash) gallery_pic_big_1.jpg
(please note I've written the word "(backslash)" because this forum won't allow me to use the (backslash symbol) in this post.
I assume this is some sort of directory that is embeded in my .fla project file but is there any software that can directely access it? Oh, I'm using a Mac computer.
Anyone? Thanks! -Rob
thanks
