Nested symbols and export to quicktime
by Mark Arenz on Sep 15, 2007 at 4:08:08 pm

I've exported flash stuff to video before with not much trouble, but I recently received a Flash project with loads of nested symbols- so naturally when I export to quicktime I only see the top-most objects. So, I've spent a few hours un-nesting & repositioning every single keyframe and I'm wondering- there has to be a smarter way to do this. Ugh.

I can open the .swf file in quicktime and it plays fine (but not controllable) and I can export to a rasterized quicktime movie, but, again, the resulting mov file is not correct.

Any suggestions?

Software I'm using:
Flash CS3
Final Cut Studio 1
