C4D - cel render and visibility keyframes

Greetings,
I have a rendering question. I've got keyframes in 'Visibility' attribute for various objects in my C4D project. Everything renders as expected in regular mode. However, when I add 'Cel Renderer' to my settings, anything with 'Visibility' keyframes stop fading in/out and instead pop on/off.
To clarify, I'm not animating alphas or anything inside materials (I know how picky cel attributes can be). I'm only animating Visibility (C4D Tags - Visibility)
Any ideas? Thanks in advance,
