James KirkA hair and cloner problem
by on Mar 11, 2012 at 5:05:18 pm

Hello.

I'm animating a plane rotating out of which hair is projecting. This is then cloned in a grid formation. When in the original rotation of the hair object, the render works well. When it is rotated, some (but not all) of the orignal hairs stay in the same location and rotation, as well as being duplicated in their rotated position. This is however only happening on the original object that is being cloned, and doesn't show up in the editor view. I have attached a couple of screenshots, and I'm not sure that my description is clear, but I'd appreciate help to fix this.

Here's the editor view:

Here's the rendered view:

Here's a detail

cheers,

james
