LIghts+Materials
by Chris Walter on Apr 23, 2009 at 10:38:06 pm

I have a cloner and a light adjusting to a sound effector, random effector, and spline effector. My problem is the materials on my floating video planes and the material on my floor. I've gotten the lights to strobe perfectly with the music, but I can't figure out how to A) get the material on the planes to reflect the light and change tints accordingly, and B) to get the floor to do the same. When not in render view, it looks exactly how i want it; tints of planes are changing, and the floor is changing color. But once rendered, everything looks the same the entire time. The planes issue can be attributed to the fact that i'm using pictures/videos for texture, but shouldn't they get brighter if a light is shining on them? I guess i just need some guidance for lights and materials.
