I need help adding a logo as a decal to an object then editing logo size!!

Hello!

I'm very new to cinema 4D and I'm still finding my way around.

I've created a sphere and added a material to it so it now shows up as blue.

I'd like to add a logo to this sphere but so that the background of the sphere still shows.

When I add the logo to a new material in the colour and alpha channel, I can add this to the sphere but the blue background disappears.

Also, once the logo is added (even though the background isn't showing just yet!), is there a way I can alter the size of how it appears, as it gets slightly distorted but I'm not sure how to adjust this.

Any tips on how to get around these problems would be greatly appreciated!
