c4d SDK Plugins on OSX - tech-ignorant designer needs help! :s

Hi guys,

I found a tutorial file on the Maxon site that uses a plug.in but Im having problems with the SDK update that is required to make the plugin work (and i admit Im not even sure I understand what i just wrote).

I have downloaded the SDK for my version (10) from here:

and dragged the unzipped folder into my C4d plugins folder... but to no avail :( ...doesnt find the plug

Can anyone tell me (in idiot language) what im doing wrong? Is there an OSX version of the SDK? Couldnt see it at above address :(
