Well it looks like embedded 5 and 6 tri-poly subunits (like an Icosahedron sphere) in a 6 -> 8 sided (hard to tell from the perspective) structure. Then Set Point Value used with the Crumple setting (gently).
A sufficiently sudivided Icoshedron somehow forced into a 6 sided (if that's what it is) cylindrical shape (Iron?)...
