trying to import eps, no luck -- getting urgent, please help!

I am trying to impost an eps, with no luck.

here is the eps:
www.brycecreative.com/cow/window_inside.eps

This is a window with the lights cut out of it

when I import it and extrude it this is what I get

My pref are set to Connect Splines, I am using 8.5
