Waveforms

This may be a novice question, but I am in the middle of an edit and can't seem to get my waveforms to display. They only show partially, then quit all together. Is this a limitaion of my RAM or something? I was cutting yesterday with way more tracks stacked up, and did not have this problem. Any tips to get them to show would be great!
