I'm confused, are you talking first hand experience with LP9?
But just for your info, when you click on an Audio track in FCP sequence, you have the option to Send To Logic 8. I'm assuming that option will be replaced by "Send To Logic 9" after I install it?
I did go ahead and order the upgrade to LP9 for $199 from sweetwater.
My concerns/inquiry:
1. How is roundtrip from FCS 3 to LP9 and back to FCS 3 and future edits under LP9?
2. STP is limited in what it can do, so I often find myself starting in STP with what I feel will be a quickie, but turns out to be more extended and then elevates in complexity to tasks that are better suited to LP. So rather than lose my STP work so far, I'm hoping I can load up my STP project into LP9 and then send the LP9 project to FCS 3.
#2 (above) is a very common workflow for me but in prior versions of FCS and LP, this workflow was worky and inefficient and was frustrating. My hope is that this has changed for FCS 3 and LP9??
Thanks, Rob.
