Is it just me, or did they rename Garageband to Logic?

Is it just me, or did they rename Garageband to Logic?

I'm decently impressed with most of the "improvements" to Apple's FCS, but wait! There's a Logic overhaul too!

The problem is, Logic looks to be a little more cartoony. A little bit geared more for guitar heads with "amp modeling" and "virtual stomp-boxes" and such. All of which looks eerily similar to a familiar cousin of Logic that uses a hollow-body guitar as its logo icon.

So why is this? Were there really that many professional recording artists that wanted Logic to look and feel like Garageband? I certainly didn't.

HOWEVER!

Some of the advancements such as the "Flex Time" features are great thoughts of the right direction.

Is my complaining legitimately valid?
