Thanks to the folks here who helped me figure out how to compose straight in the score editor.
Next question, which I'm ashamed to admit I haven't been able to figure out from my Logic Power manual.
How do I get my score to play back? Currently I get no sound no matter which instrument I choose.
I can listen to the sample songs that come with the program, etc, but when I write something brand new, I get no sound--even though I can see signal in the tiny window to the left of the instrument panel.
Is there a mute button on somewhere I don't know about, or is there some way to pre-assign an instrument to your score before you start writing?
