DV capture via SDI has audio issues
by

I've tried capturing some standard DV footage in Final Cut from my Sony hvr-m25u through an HD Connect MI, but the embedded audio has crackling noise. I am using a BlackMagic HD Extreme card in a Mac Pro. I can capture the video SDI, and the audio through xlr analog inputs and that audio is fine. This is what I'm doing to work around the issue with the embedded audio. Is there a fix for this, or a setting I should change?
Thanks,
Dan Sparks
