SD Connect and Premiere Pro

A few firmware updates ago the SD Connect stopped automatically switching to capture mode when I open the capture window in Premiere Pro. I have upgraded to Premiere Pro 2 and the problem is still there. Can anyone help?? SD Connect is set to Premiere Pro and device control in Premiere to Promax standard. SD Connect Firmware version is 1.1.217. Also with the new capture modes in Premiere Pro can SD Connect use any of these modes to capture in higher resolution than DV.
Finally John Schell if you are reading... remember the problem we were communicating over last year regarding assembling back to tape?? Still no resolution as yet. Have not needed to use this for a while but about to commence a large job and I will need to assemble back to tape (DVCPro deck) at the end of each edit job, about 4 times each day. Have you had any joy??
Thanks for the help guys and great product. The television station I work for were so impressed they bought one too!
