Re: Problem with SD-Connect and analog capture

Hi Mike,
thanks for your prompt answer:

>1) What version of firmware are your running (check under System and About)?

Firmware version 1.12
SW 1.1.198

>2) Do you use internal or external reference?

I use internal reference because I haven't a blackburst generator.

>3) PAL or NTSC?

PAL

>4) If you run the video thru a TBC (if you have one) does this fix the problem?

Yes, I tried out capturing from BetacamSP (Sony BVW75P) and MII (Panasonic AU-W35H) and in these cases all is OK, no color deviation or jitter, cause they have an internal TBC.
However I have to capture even from machines without internal TBC, such as VHS and U-matic, and I don't have an external TBC (On SD-Connect's specs I read that this unit has an internal TBC and frame synchronizer, providing itself for these functionalities).
I can't understand why other cheaper consumer converter that I tried out, are not affected from this problem.

How Can I solve this?

Regards
And.
