Avid Unity + XSAN on the same machine = success!
by Shane Sokolosky on Sep 12, 2009 at 12:28:07 am

Just wanted to share some of our most recent testing with the COW here.

We have successfully integrated OS X leopard and OS X leopard Server mounting multiple XSAN volumes and Multiple Avid Unity volumes at the same time. Just stick to the recommendations of Apple and Avid and you'll be in good shape.

I'm sure not too many people run into this situation but, in case it comes up and you don't have a spare unity and XSAN laying around to test with, it'll work.

now to do it on the PC! more to come...
