and THANK BOTH OF YOU, as this email proves that there is no reason to purchase a VTrak, and suffer thru all this bulls@#$ when every other array will do over 500mb/sec, and not have all this nonsense to go thru to give wonderful performance (for ProRes422HQ and other compressed HD formats).

Why would anyone go thru this crap, when Dulce, Sonnet, Cal Digit, Aberdeen, Maxx Digital, G-Tech, and countless others don't make you go thru this. This is 2008. You setup your drive array, plug it into your system, and go to work. AND YES, this applies to SAN and NAS applications, certainly for ProRes422HQ performance. AND NO DROPPED FRAME ISSUES.
