Thanks for your response. Again, on the whole I'm happy with the XSAN system. Although, right now I'm looking at having to upgrade everything to 2.0 and that's not looking like that much fun, and, I'm at a breaking point where adding one more computer to my xsan means another sanbox, fibre cabling, etc. So, I'm just exploring my alternatives and wondering if anyone has actually used one of these SATA-SAN networks (they call them AoE, it seems) in a multi-client, HD environment. It just seems crazy that you could get HD speeds (even DVCPRO HD speeds) on multiple computers over gig-e.
