Cannot unmount clients
by ChrisWood on Dec 6, 2006 at 11:04:44 pm

I have 2 clients who appear in Xsan admin as IP addresses not hostnames and the addresses reflect our production LAN not the private metadata LAN they were supposedly regietred on. The strange thing is that the clients are mounting the SAN volume as expected.

How can I remove these apparently orphaned addresses so that the client names will register with the proper IP and hostname.

Xsan client software has been removed and re-installed but the admin still shows the same information.

We're running OSX 10.4.7, Xsan 1.4 with 2 MDC's, 3 clients 1 of which resolves correctly and is our OD master.

Thanks for the help

Chris
