Gee the man only waits a day and calls Apple for a replacement part that they say will be with him a day later. Who would go and buy another drive as you suggest?
Your suggestion is that as soon as their is a problem we "get" an extra drive.
And it *will* do him some good if readers are warned of this experience.
Are you saying that Apple drives are so unrelaible even from new that we should buy a spare to begin with?
If so how that is usefull advice.
