Well if you are just shooting SD that is a generic DV signal and any of the FS should be able to record that. You may have to hit record on the device verse the camera. But DV is DV.

If you are running power to the cameras and you know they are set up before you JAM sync the cameras they might be right on. IF you want to test it make sure you are still using a clapper. If stopping and starting rec will not be an issue it is really if you change scene or recording settings and turning the camera off and on that cause the TC to drift. It is worth a try before spending the $$.
