We didn't try 30p to the firestore at all but my guess would be that it might not work properly in Quicktime mode at this time. after working with the Quicktime mode for a day I dont' think it works well (at least with the 900) so we switched back to P2 card mode due to the more control we had on the clips and with logging in FCP. It's only a bit longer on the import and even in QT mode you still have to copy the files if you are loading to another drive to the time issue was a wash. We plan an extensive test when we wrap this project with all the different modes and frame rates.
