I will answer my own post. After talking with Firestore support today and doing some trial and error it looks like you can't record from the Panasonic HDX-900 to a Firestore 100 in the new Quicktime mode and get each shot broken to an individual clip... while recording to tape. We needed 24P and were only able to get it right by using the P2 mode. Seems to be an issue with the HDX-900 as this is a new camera to the Firestore and Focus is working on it and troubleshooting it right now.
