I'm not familiar with any big online database of presets out there for GB guitar tones or effects that mimic popular band sounds. Might be one somewhere but I can't find it. There are some things packs out there that include sounds that are supposed to be modeled after famous artists but not anything as simple as selecting a band or a song from a long list and downloading a preset for it. I can see how that would be handy.

You can check out Tone Heaven. http://www.macsongtools.com/toneheavenvol.1.html

That said, I find figuring it out by ear to be quite educational.
