Hotkey for cycling through audio regions?
by Matthew Dunkle on Sep 10, 2009 at 3:10:48 am

I have been using GB since 2005 and have just decided to build a database of my own instrumental loops.

Here is my dilema:

I have between 50-100 audio regions(the purple blocks) on one track which were created by spilicing up one audio region. Currently I click on each audio region (the purple blocks) and then use the hotkey (which I created) for "add to loop library". Then I choose the appropriate catagories and click ok or whatever. But this is getting pretty tedious. I've got files backing up.

I want to automate this. In order to do that I figure all I need is for there to be a way to go from one selected audio region to the next without clicking on it. This seems like a simple request. I've tried every logical combo. The arrow keys, tab, the number pad. Pretty much everything. If someone knows how to switch audio regions without using the mouse please let me know. Or if you can think of another way to automate this task I'd be happy to hear it. Keep in mind these audio regions vary in length.

Thanks,
Matthew
