Soundtrack Pro Loops to Garage Band

I have both Garage Band and Soundtrack Pro. I like to use GB for the simple projects. However I have a whole bunch of great Apple Loops that came with Soundtrack Pro that I would like to bring into GB.
I have tried dragging the folders to the GB interface but all I get is a reindexing progress bar and then the loops don't show up.
The Soundtrack Pro loops are on a secondary drive. Some of them are .caf files... some are aiff...
According to instructions, if you drag a folder to the loops window in GB you should get an option to copy the loops over to the GB loops folder are simply access the files from their original location.
This dialogue box doesn't appear.
Is it because they are .caf files. Is it because some of the folders have identical names to the GB folders... like "GUITAR" or "BASS"?
I would love to get some of these SP loops into GB. Is there a way to do it?
Thanks
TAK
